Whether you need a picnic blanket, a warm layer around the fire, or an extra layer on top of or under your sleeping bag, a quality Get Out Gear Down Camping Blanket is a versatile and valuable piece of gear to have in your arsenal. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we spend a large chunk of our time outdoors May through October, hanging out in parks, by rivers, and engaging in various outdoor activities, so we know a thing or two about what makes the best camping blankets.
Also sewn into the same edge are three, lightweight, plastic snaps that can be used to convert the blanket into a poncho. Just throw it over the shoulders and snap it like a button down shirt. This is a simple yet innovative feature that is not found on other outdoor blankets being sold today. The best feature by far has to be the weight. It weighs in at an insane 17 ounces – enough said.

It is super comfy whether laying on top of it or when placing it on top of the body. Using the included snaps to wear it like a poncho is also a great way to stay warm with this blanket, especially when sitting in a camp chair. The placement of the three snaps also adds a bit of innovation to this blanket.
Can sub as a sleeping bag during warmer summer nights.
Little pricey for a blanket

The price might be a little steep for an additional blanket to carry around, but it is made of down which tends to drive the price up a little bit. Therefore, I believe this blanket is totally worth the price.
