How to Make Pine Sol Mosquito Repellent: Keep Mosquitoes Away

Pine sol mosquito repellent, known to repel flies, is included in the original Pine-Sol product. Use this recipe to make your homemade fly repellent to keep flies away. Pine-Sol works as an insect repellent for the majority of bugs and flies. Shake the spray container vigorously until the fluid is at the correct ratio, then treat places where you want to keep these stinging bugs away.

Pine Sol Mosquito Repellent

PINE SOL MOSQUITO REPELLENT ATTRACTS BUGS.

Fortunately, I’ve discovered two methods that keep these creatures at bay. They only need four essential items: 2 spray bottles, Listerine Mint Mouthwash, and Pine-sol or eucalyptus oil for a more natural spray. Mosquitoes despise mint! Fill a spray bottle midway with Listerine and spray away! Simple Pine Sol, like many other fly sprays, includes an aromatic plant pine oil – pine. Flies hate it. However, do not use Pine Sol directly from the bottle.

PINE SOL AND BUGS

Do Pine-Sol and Fabuloso keep roaches at bay? Pine-Sol and Fabuloso are powerful all-purpose cleaners. These products, like bleach, kill bugs on contact. To keep cockroaches at bay, some homeowners recommend spraying Pine-Sol around the exterior of their homes.

Ants are hungry and will take almost any crumb they come across as a food source. We should use Pine Sol to clean everything. The ants despise the fragrance for some reason.

Essential oils that efficiently repel cockroaches include peppermint oil, cedarwood oil, and cypress oil. Furthermore, these insects dislike the fragrance of crushed bay leaves and avoid coffee grounds. To destroy them naturally, mix powdered sugar with boric acid.

PINE SOL AND WATER

This spray works well both outside and inside. It seems that flies HATE pine-sol. To make the spray to keep flies away, mix equal parts of the original Pine-Sol and water and place it in a squirt bottle. Use it to wipe down counters or spray it on your porch, patio table, and chairs to eliminate flies.

MOSQUITOES HATE THE SMELL OF PINE.

That’s correct, pine oil. Mosquitoes are repelled by pine oil. The Malaria Research Centre discovered that pine oil gave 100% protection against Anopheles and 97% protection against southern house mosquitos, which are most abundant in tropical settings.

What exactly is this? Pine-higher Sol’s acidity compares well to Fabuloso when dissolving grease-based stains and messes. The only liquid cleaning product that disinfects is Pine-Sol Original.

HOW TO MAKE FLY REPELLANT

If you make your Pine sol mosquito repellent, you should always label them, so everyone in the house knows what they are. You can also write the date on the bottle to remember when you made the homemade fly repellent. After making a batch, you can use it for a few weeks.

HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE FLY SPRAY

  • Step 1: Mix 1 cup of Pine Sol and 1 cup of water in your spray bottle. If you want to make more, mix the ingredients 50/50.
  • Step 2: Shake well to combine. Make sure the lid is on fast, so there are no leaks.
  • Step 3: Put a name on the spray bottle with your permanent marker. When you make homemade cleaners, the bottle should be clearly labelled, so everyone in the house knows what’s in it.

WHAT SMELLS HELP REPEL MOSQUITOES?

  • Citronella.
  • Clove.
  • Cedarwood.

  • Eucalyptus.
  • Peppermint.
  • Rosemary.
  • Lemongrass.

A FEW HELPFUL TIPS:

DO BUGS LIKE THE WAY PINE-SOL SMELLS?

I LOVE the way the original scent of Pine-Sol smells. I think it smells so clean and fresh. Flies and mosquitoes don’t like the smell, so this is a great way to eliminate those pesky bugs.

DOES PINE-SOL DETER RODENTS?

Natural Deterrents. Rats don’t like strong smells like peppermint and Pine-Sol. You can use Pine-Sol or peppermint oil to clean the engine and other parts of the car. The reasonable thing about these is that they will make your car smell great.

DOES PINE-SOL REPEL PESTS?

Pine-Sol can be used to keep bugs and flies away from most places. Mix 80% Pine-Sol and 20% water in a spray bottle. Shake the bottle well until the correct ratio is reached, and spray the areas where you want to keep these stinging pests away.
