CREATIVE XP Night Vision Goggles

The GlassOWl Pro Night Vision binoculars from CREATIVE XP Night Vision Goggles . Yes, the name GlassOwl is back here, and I don’t know which brand came up with it first, but I like it.

Compared to the binos we’ve seen so far, there are a few bonuses here. First, the lenses are FMC or fully multi-coated, which allows more light transmission and less distortion in your image. The 4” viewing screen is also much bigger than the 2 or 2.5” screens we’ve been looking at, literally and figuratively.

And the range here is claimed to be up to 1300 feet. This is probably accurate, and I think the Kekool’s 1900 feet was exaggerated and is similar.

Like other models, the Creative XP binos can save and playback stills and video, which are stored on a micro SD memory card (32GB included). They also throw in an SD card reader and a USB cable to give you lots of connections.

The binos also come with a padded neck strap and a padded case to protect them, which is a pretty good package. The binos are also IPX4 rated, so they can be used in heavy rain. All told, these are some of the most durable night vision binoculars on the market.

The optical magnification is fixed, and then there are two levels of digital zoom: 3x and 7.5x. The digital zoom tends to make everything grainy, however, and isn’t very useful.

For batteries, you’re again looking at either eight AA batteries or else an outboard 5V battery, neither of which is included. With the AAs, you get three levels of IR intensity, while the 5V battery will get you seven levels.

For the best performance and the longest range, you’re best with the 5V. And the batteries will give you up to four hours of run time with the IR beam on its lowest setting.

FAQ:

Question: So, if i wanna go out in the wild and search for Bigfoot, would you recommend these? Do these work as well in forested areas as they would in the open
Answer: Absolutely. I’m 26, and I’ve been searching for him since 1984. after they arrived, I decided to go to the forests deep in Antarctica to continue my search. after a mere FIVE MINUTES with these, I spotted him almost instantly. they worked so well that he called me a cheater, hit me with an uppercut and ran away. anyways, 10/10 buy th

Question: Is this rechargeable?
Answer: Our Pro IR Digital Night Vision Binoculars are NOT rechargeable. It uses 8 AA batteries which are NOT included. You CAN use rechargeable batteries as well and the brand we recommend is ENELOOP Pro. Please don’t hesitate contacting us via email or phone if you have any other questions. Have a great day! 🙂

Question: It says can be hooked up to external battery. What and whete are the cables and where do i get the batteries. What is the battery life in hours ?
Answer: The cable is a simple USB micro that goes in the USB port on the side of the unit. I use one my rechargeable Lithium battery packs that I use to recharge my cell phone when traveling. Life is dependent on the size of that battery.

I use a 6,200 mAh battery because it fits easily in my shirt pocket. It has lasted at least 2 hrs, but I usually recharge before it is completely drained. The cable hanging off the side is a bummer, but it eliminates all the issues with the AA batteries, and actually makes the bins lighter and easier to hold.

Question: Can rechargeable batteries be recharged in the binoculars without having to remove them?
Answer: No, you have to remove the batteries. You will also need to reset the date and time.

Question: Could this help me spot coyotes at nite?
Answer: Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, our Pro IR Digital Night Vision Binoculars work perfectly and will definitely help you spot coyotes at night. Many customers use them for this exact same purpose! Please don’t hesitate to contact us via email or phone if you have any suggestions!

Question: What is the lens material plastic or glass?
Answer: The viewing lens/window, I believe is plastic. But the objective lenses for the IR and binocular appear to be glass.

Question: Does this illuminate using an IR light or does it magnify ambient light and heat?
Answer: Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Please be advised that our GlassOwl Night Vision Binoculars use a built-in Infrared (IR) light to capture images in complete darkness and it’s NOT a thermal imager. Please don’t hesitate to contact us via email or phone if you have any suggestions!

Question: How far away can you see with these binoculars and what is the clarity like? To what extent can you zoom and capture a clear image?
Answer: Thank you for your question. Our Night Vision Binoculars PRO has 2X digital zoom (3.5-7X optical zoom) allows you to see even 1300 FEET AWAY. 2X digital zoom means that there are only 2 zoom levels: -the default level is at 3.5X (we can’t have the NVB PRO at 0X) -after you press the ZOOM button, you go to level 2 (7X)

Question: Does it reflect light, can whatever you hunting see your location does the equipment Reflect lights ?
Answer: Thank you for your question. The very dim red glow can be seen just from a close distance and when someone is exactly in front of the device which doesn’t really happen. The IR Illuminator 850 NM is designed as NO-GLOW therefore animals won’t be spooked by the CREATIVE XP Digital Night Vision Binoculars PRO.
