Coleman Gas Camping GrillStove Tabletop Propane

The Coleman Gas Camping GrillStove is an innovative stove that combines a grill on one half and a single burner on the other. The main question is: do you want so much space dedicated to grilling when you could also just get a griddle accessory and put it on a standard two-burner stove (and have two burners when not grilling).

For some people, the built-in grill proves handy. Especially if you want what is one of the most portable grills out there with the option to boil water and cook with a smaller pot. For other people, the answer is to get a standard two-burner Coleman Portable Gas stove and then either use a true portable grill like the Weber Smokey Joe (charcoal) or the Weber Q 220 (gas).

For most situations, we prefer the Coleman Triton. We like having two dedicated burners as most of the time we are not grilling. And, often when you are camping there is an outdoor grill set up nearby. Outdoor grills are not very user friendly compared to a gas grill, but they are part of the camping experience (and much better for roasting marshmallows). For the best two-burner camp stove, check out the Camp Chef Everest or Stansport Outfitters Series. These stoves are about the same cost as the Grill Stove but much better for the cooking you most often do when camping.

Question: Can someone tell me the difference between the coleman camp propane grill/stove and the coleman perfect flow grill stove?
Answer: To answer your question I have non perfect flow stove/grill ;model 2000020925and it works great have been using it for 3 years straight. The difference is size in demensions. The electric start went out after 6 months but I use it twice a day 365 days a year. In the light rain, and wind up to 20mph it has never given me a problem so I can’t see paying the extra price for the perfect flow technology that I’m sure is no better than this model with a much smaller price tag.

Question: Does this grill/stove work with the small propane cylinders?
: Danielle, yes this stove will work with the 16oz. propane tanks. It will also work with a 5 gallon tank with the right hose and adapter. Since I have an RV, I bought the hose and adapter, so I can use the RV’s onboard propane tank. It’s a lot cheaper than buying the 16oz tanks!

Question: How easy it to clean the grill side?
: Unless I’m cooking for a crowd I use this one for just the two of us. It’s pretty easy to clean up with warm soapy water and a mostly wrung out cloth.

Question: Does it comes with the regulator? or i have to buy it separately?
: I have only been able to get mine to work with the small green propane bottles. I have tried to connect it to my 5 gallon tank with two different hoses without success. No regulator is needed with the bottles.

Question: How long, or how many meals (approximately) will a 16oz propane cylinder last with this grill?
: We cooked 5 meals on it and the 16oz tank was light but not empty. It was a combination of hot dogs, chicken breasts, brats, and burger

Question: Can you close the lid to grill a 1 1/2″ steak without it crushing it?
: I have down it. You have to bend the side flips in arch shape making the arch higher than the size of steak. Sear both sizes of your steak the flid the flaps over and let the lid rest on top of the arched flaps. Keep the flame small though and watch for grease flare up from the fat cooking and dripping off the meat.

Question: For anyone who has tried cooking veggies in foil on the grill side, how well did that work out?
: Worked great I put ice cubes and butter with veggies. The water steams cooks the veggies and then the butter adds flavor. I cook on medium to low heat to prevent burning butter.

Question: What are the overall dimensions?
: 22″ by 14″ by 5 1/2 “. Just measured it. Great grill luv it

Question: Is it comibg with the propane cylinders included?
: It didn’t come with any propane cylinder
